American-born Taliban convert and former F.B.I. "Ten Most Wanted List" poster boy Adam Gahdan was one of two Americans killed in a hushed-up U.S. drone strike in Pakistan in January. The news hit the mainstream media today and most of the attention was rightfully given to the American hostage killed by "friendly fire" in this attack, rather than the terrorist Gahdan. What they didn't tell you was that Adam Gahdan was born Adam Pearlman, the son of legendary Orange County surf/psychedelic musician Phil Pearlman...in other words a California hippie kid (and, surprisingly) a Jewish one.
Phil Pearlman is well known in 60s collector circles for his 1965 surf novelty 45 "Chrome Reverse Rails/Blower Scoop" by PHIL & THE FLAKES (on Fink records), as well as for the high-dollar (and decent) private press psych albums he released in the 60s and 70s with his groups BEAT OF THE EARTH, THE ELECTRIC HOLE and RELITIVELY CLEAN RIVERS. The senior Pearlman also had connections to Sonobeat recording artists WILDFIRE, a favorite among TX 70s hard rock fans as well as another obscure Orange County surf band called THE BEACH BOYS. His connection to Charles Manson has yet to be established, but would not be very surprising at this point in the story.

Yep...that was the sad part. Obama actually took responsibilty, so does that mean he will fire himself?
 
Well that's a damn interesting connection I wasn't aware of.

Killing the two hostages was very likely a mistake on the part of the US. Was blowing up the other US citizens (Adam Gahdan and Ahmed Farouq) truly a mistake as the Obama administration says, or intentional? If intentional, it's a violation of the US Constitution.

For what it's worth, Gahdan's father may have been Jewish, but he was Christian home schooled.

Republican field is laughable, though with all that money I'm not laughing too hard. Trump seems like a joke to me, but I guess Warren looks that way to you guys. Nobody cares especially about the first lady, except conservatives it seems!

I'm no fan of Hilary. I still hope Elizabeth Warren runs, she's a candidate I'd campaign and vote for. Of course, this is all 9 months away.

Sorry to get off topic, it's sad to read that Pearlman's son was a terror spokesman, but also that he was illegally assassinated in all likelihood.

I don't know that we need another university professor as President...especially a "faux Indian" one. Woodrow Wilson was a "brilliant" progressive academic who gave us The Federal Reserve, loyalty oaths, widespread race riots and our needless involvement in WWI. I really can't take 1%'ers like her and Al Gore lecturing me about my greed and selfishness. At least Trump is honest about what he is and would play hardball with our competitors.

Everyone laughed at him, mocked his 'doom and gloom' economic forecasts for the future, and heckled his pie-charts, which were created to make his message understandable to the dumbed-down masses (like people, ahem, who watch Oprah Winfrey & choose a candidate based upon how attractive or good looking they are in their eyes). Hence, our current President.

But the man was spot-on with his predictions. We desperately need a businessman running the country. I'd vote for Trump like yesterday. Elizabeth Warren? Now THAT'S a laugh. Please.

WARREN will never run. She would get crunched. I'd vote for Trump but he doesn't have a chance either. Scott Walker is my guy. A Governor from Wisconsin who has really turned them around.

I appreciate Scott Walker too, although I find his 60s surf instrumentals like The Moongooners 45s easier to relate to than his current avant-garde experimental stuff.
 
Walker would be my top choice as well.
Problem I see is that a "white conservative" will NEVER get elected anymore in the USA.
The only way a non-Democrat can win an election is via the race card now - a minority.
Although the Dem's elaborate smear campaigns (funded by the majority of unions) will crush anyone who chooses to oppose a candidate. The orchestrated demise of Herman Cain, for example.

Just add Mia Love to the Walker ticket as VP...and do it as late as possible so that the puppy-dog press won't have too much of a chance to get the "smear machine" into high gear before election day. She can work a crowd...and she has a valid U.S. birth certificate!
