In issue five I will be hopefully unveiling photos of these unknown Gold Coast/Brisbane combos.

The End (previously known as The Rejects), The East Enders (actually
from Sydney but has a residency at Digby's discotheque), Kelly's Royal
Blue Coast Guide, & The Dimples.

Brisbane:

The Loose Ends (changed their name to The Movement in Melbourne, had a
single on the HMV label), The Mystic Blues (possible second Soundtrack
vinyl release after The Worried Minds in early '66), The Cavaliers
(Redcliffe band who played a 15 hour, and then a 20 hour non-stop show
around Jan '66). Also a great article on opening of Teen City in Jan
'64, with a photo, and loads of info for an article on The Down & Out
(have group names, two brothers played in The Kodiacs - Ross D Wyile
group, plus the Down & Out's lead singer was the first vocallist for the Bay City Union).

The Down & Out, The Chelsea Set, Thursday's Children, The
Vacant Lot, The Purple Hearts played at the St George Club in Upper
Edward Street..plus heaps more.

As always this is a work in progress. Hopefully I'll find more information about The Leather Souls.
