Another new sound system

I decided to let it have one of the sheets, in case there was trouble. I dragged one of the sheets in from the balcony on to the listening room floor, and offered it up as a sacrifice. The SQ went up 25%, one of the biggest jumps ever. Comparable to the work we did on the meter box.

Latest deductions :

1 - STB definitely IS making the amplifiers operate as if they are perfect straight wire with gain. There is no doubt in my mind at this point. The improvement HAS to be mainly coming from the amplifiers and cables (interacting with clean power). There's no other explanation.

2 - STB for all intents and purposes offers potential INFINITE improvement possibilities. I thought it had to be close to the limit on many, many occasions, but it always can be taken further. And most of these improvements beyond "perfect" are leaps, not steps.

3 - Many modern recordings are in fact very, very good.

4 - reproduced sound can be better than you ever thought possible (of course that includes me as well).

5 - I modestly proclaim STB to be the most important audio development since the Edison phonograph.

After making the 3 ultra-potent sheets today, I have to keep my stash of STB outside, stored in a waterproof container. As soon as I bring it inside, the lights stop working.

So I removed all the STB except the Sonic Elevators on the Mains and the PG3S on the meter box, and put them in the box on the front verandah.

I swear, the sound quality did not go down at all. I'm sure it probably will tomorrow, but the effect is definitely residual for many hours. I can't bring myself to believe the alternative, which is that the STB operates on the stereo just as well from outside the house, as from inside.

There are 3 rolls and at least 200 large slices in the container.

The obvious benefit, if there is a residual effect -

Several hours before a critical listening or recording session, place the Sonic Elevator on the breaker box. Then right before you start the session, move it to the wall outlet. Then you would get the residual effect on the breaker box, plus the instant effect on the wall outlet.

also, covering unused wall outlets in the stereo room area with 2.5 inches square of PG3S tape is HIGHLY recommended! 2 or 3 layers works even better. Very huge improvement in SQ.

The patent attorney has received the Sonic Elevator, and he is testing it. Problem is, his entire stereo cost US$200. It's a micro system... He says he can't notice a difference so far, but his son is asleep so he is playing the music at very low volume. Hopefully it will sound better when he can turn up the volume!

The patent attorney contacted me this morning. He tried again with the Sonic Elevator, but still couldn't hear a difference. His theory for the failure of the brick - his $200 mini-system is already "good enough", and further improvements are therefore impossible.

God, it's hard being an inventor. I think I'm gonna go back to being a record collector again. That was so much easier!

When I heard a wealthy patent attorney owned a $200 hi-fi, I knew it was a lost cause; but presumably he does't need to perceive the effect in order to do his job.

Yeah that is right. He already is getting on with the search. I actually think the search is a waste of time, as I'm sure no-one, nowhere is using Component "B" for audio.

Here is a site that specialises in measuring and solving (health) problems caused by Electromagnetic Interference. Lots of interesting info here.

https://www.emfanalysis.com

This guy identifies 4 different types of Electromagnetic pollution

Microwave and RF, Magnetic fields, Electric fields, and EMI. Read more here on the same site

It isn't accurate to say there are 4 types of electromagnetic pollution. Magnetic fields and electric fields are forces, which can combine to make electromagnetic radiation. EMI is impure EMF. Really, there's only the electromagnetic spectrum and one type of pollution, which can vary in modulation and frequency. (I'm unschooled, so correct me if I'm wrong.)

Unfortunately I can't name the brick "Sonic Elevator". That name is already taken by a well established company. So I changed it to "STB strange matter". I designed a minimalist packaging concept to accentualte the mysterious properties of STB. Comments and criticism welcome but it's unlikely i will change it. I've been in the packaging business long enough to know a strong commercial concept when i see it. :sonny: Plus one color is simple and cheap to produce :sneaky:
