What about wrapping Nuclear on top of a lesser STB?
Yes, you could but a far better soloution would be to paint PVA woodworking glue over the top of the Nuclear mat. Dries to a smooth finish, and does not affect the Nuclear formula. Nuclear is already much smoother than Platinum or Diamond because it contains only fine particle size ingredients.can a regular mat be placed on top of the nuclear mat so the rekkid doesn't get scratched?
I bought that LP when I was 19, in 1974. At the time, I liked the artwork and the song titles better than the actual music. Listened to it again now, and really enjoyed it. You're right, Sebastian. I still like the same 3 songs that appealed to me in 1974 - Dominance and Submission, Harvester Of Eyes and ME262. But now I keep hearing Radio Birdman in every track, and it's amazing how much of their sound comes from BOC. Back in 1974, I had never heard RB of course. This may not be what anyone of you enjoy listening to: but I just played the "Secret Treaties" LP by Blue Oyster Cult (orig Holland release). The sound quality and instrument separation is ridiculous. If you've got a copy and an STB treated (ha!) system, give it a spin.
Voltage fluctuations, that is. Yes I am sure the enhanced conductive properties of STB would have a beneficial effect on voltage regularity. That supports your theory about STB stopping micro fluctuations!

Yeah, Radio Birdman must've been really into BOC. I heard Radio Birdman before I heard BOC so it was quite an "aha" moment once I noticed it.![]()
