Another new sound system

I'll make some STB Black Elastoplast tape tomorrow, and send you some Daniel. If you PM your address. I'd like to hear your opinion. That actually goes for anyone who is game to try. It's very easy to use, you just wrap it around the ends of cables (especially power cables!), or stick it like I did on safe areas of the fusebox, or on the AC wall outlet, giving clearance for the plugs. Or all the above. All the chemistry is hidden under a non-conductive, non-toxic PVA layer.

It sounds like SBT Black works best on power cables. I'll be very happy to try some!

Yes it does. But it works anywhere. Any of the usual places. The more you use, the better it sounds. That rule appears to go to infinity, with no audible downside whatsoever.

On your modem! If you stream music
On your amplifiers (any kind) near the connections
On your tonearm headshell (a small rectangle)
Wall sockets
Fusebox (a must)
Any analog cables, especially (but not only) power cables, near (or on) the connectors
Any digital cable, especially near (or on) the connectors
On your laptop near the USB connectors (if you stream music)

Once the WHO finds out about STB Black, it will be mandatory.
On a serious note - the late Tim M, who marketed a primitive (but state of the art at the time) and groundbreaking similar product called Omega Mats, once told me that he made a large version of the mat for his cat to sleep on, because it had arthritis. The mat was supposed to cure the cat's ailment by purifying the electrical fields around the napping cat.

Only a small rectangle??? I have not known you to be backward in tempting God by delving in the sonic realm of the Divine before... Or is it because the limit of the tonearm counter-balance is easily exceeded?

A small rectangle is for the uninititated. It's enough to get started. I'll leave it to each individual to work out for themselves that the more you use, the better it sounds.
 
More is better also applies to the wands. I have 3 in operation now. There are 2 in the electrical switchboard area, and one behind the stereo, close to the wall outlets. The stereo one is pure STB Black. It's incredibly powerful, yet only has 3 layers (so far!)

Wand 1 - approx 12 layers STB with final layer of STB Gold. STB Power Rating 80 STB
Wand 2 - approx 12 layers STB gold with final layer of STB Black. STB Power Rating 220 STB
Wand 3 - 3 layers STB Black. STB Power Rating - 640 STB
 
I've been making STB Black transfers for the last 3 hours. After playing them back, I can rule out my previous notion that the STB effect may not be recordable. It cetainly is. :boggle:
It still depends on the playback equipment naturally. But only the crudest gear would fail to pick up the improvements I can hear on headphones.

I’d absolutely love to try and hear these improvements on my comparatively crude gear. :cool:
