Another new sound system

It's a different new medium because of the way it makes you feel. The distortion is so low, compared to anything I (or you) have ever heard before, that literally every snare beat, every guitar shimmer, every word that's sung makes you smile with joy and relief at what you are finally hearing. It's a new type of listening that gives pure pleasure at every moment. Transients are so light, they have no weight at all. You realise that previously, every note of recorded music you ever heard was actually torture mixed with pleasure.

Daniel - would you kindly perform an experiment for me? Would you stick (if only temporarily) a large piece of STB tape (or maybe two) on the front of the AC wall outlet plate? I would like to know which gives the bigger improvement, front or rear.

I wonder if the NBN box itself is VERY effectively projecting the SBT coating throughout the entire house? Rather than blocking anything? The effect is FAR too MASSIVE to be just blocking.

As of today, I am no longer listening to hi-fi. It's someting new. A completely new medium. Related to hi-fi but unrecognisable now.
OK, it's just incredibly good sound really, but going beyond anything remotely imaginable before today.

I have to admit it's turning me into a huge stereo fan. Still love mono, but...
(Only if the stereo is done right though. Two mics on the whole band, maybe a couple extra for guitars and one for the vocals.)

EMF Transmat Beam?

I'll attempt it in the evening. In the meantime, I'll need to develop my template skills. (Can you use your Transmat Beam to shoot me through a sample of SBT Platinum?)

In case anyone is wondering about Bunker 21 - it doesn't exist yet. I've just been a bit too busy. But it will still happen, and it will be better because of the delay.

It isn't the NBN connector box in particular. It's the latest batch of "high-B component" SBT serum I mixed for the STB-P5 that is responsible. It's freakin' dynamite. I proved this just now by using the last scrapings from the same bottle to paint an ultra-thin coating on the Black wand. It was only about one haIf a teaspoon that I had left. I think it made more improvement than maybe 10 standard layers - really thick layers.

:yikes:

Tracks I played this morning like "2120 South Michigan Avenue", "Empty Heart" and Them "Gloria" sounded unbelievable this morning. Now you can't even imagine.

Write down the formula (ratios) before you forget!
I have already. There are 14 ingredients, 25 if you count the 12 crystal mix.

The detonating ingredient is definitely the B Component. Everything else was just from the same pre-mixed honey-pot that I used for the STB Black. STB Black had about 2 or 3 percent B Component. P5 would have about 10-12 percent. It's a bit hard to know exactly, as I just poured about half a glass of pre-mix from the honey-pot into the small plastic jar which contained about 2 or 3 teaspoons of B component, then sealed the bottle and shook it up. I guess there could have been some semi-dried B component on the sides of the jar as well. I used about 80% of that mix on the sheet, and the last 20% on the wand. Each probably made about the same improvement, which was off the scale in both cases.

10 kilos of B component will be enough to rule the world!

Homework Accomplished
I accoutred the external surface of the powerpoint as shown in fig. 1. The rectangular section of the middle piece is a triple layer. I was too lazy to make the entire section triple due to the complicated shape. I didn't accoutre the outer section as it is a snap on facia.

Listening Session
The sound was HUGE. I believe that was a side effect of the bass having been extended and boosted. The speakers now shake my desk. Keep in mind that the speakers are less than 7" tall and less than 4" wide. Apart from that, I noticed that the highs had been tamed and mids had a little more punch.

Conclusion & Epilogue
If you neglect to accoutre the powerpoint either externally or internally, you're signing you're own death warrant (musically speaking). Just make sure you switch off the power before you do so. (After hearing the improvements, I went to town with the remaining thick tape, covering the rest of the power plug, and adding more to the power board. Total improvement: 12%. Total system value: $3,326.40)

That's fantastic thank you Daniel. Great job. I have to tell you, that if you do exactly the same thing with the new P5 tape, you will get 3-5 times the improvement compared to the STB Black. That's what I've been doing tonight, but in the breaker box. The P5 is a bit brittle, I snapped a piece tonight. It may need 10% more PVA glue in the mix.

Nice job with the small pieces on the switches. Those switches are where most of the bad juju leaks out. They are connected directly to the powered wire behind the faceplate. They emit deadly sonic poison, much more than the sockets themselves.

For me this is the culmination of a life-long interest in improving audio quality. It's like hitting the mega-jackpot after many years of trying. It does seem to be the absolute ultimate answer that no-one apart from Furutech and Perfect Path has ever touched upon.

So I get very excited, probably a lot more excited than anyone else would. My enthusiasm is over the top for sure, but it's real. To make things more difficult, STB does change from hour to hour and day to day. Actually I don't think STB changes, it's the way it interacts with the electric supply of the house. Sometimes it's like you've been transported to heaven almost literally, and other times you turn it on and it's just not happening. But this level of craziness only happens when you push things to the limit like I have. It's like a Formula 1 racing car. The good thing is - even when it fails at certain times, it always comes back later in the day.

It feels like watching a tennismatch - the ball goes from Mark to Daniel to Mark to Daniel. Very, very quickly. You know it's great! Although I only grasp a little tiny bit deep down I feel that it's important. Keep playing, guys! I'll be looking in awe.
I was a pretty good at tennis in my youth but I'll be damned if I can make heads or tails out of what these 2 geniuses are going on about :crap:

There's only one cure for that. I will send you a couple of slices of STB P5, when it's ready (hopefully next week if all goes well). Plus instructions on how to use it. If you're game to sail into unchartered waters. That goes for anyone else who's curious or doubtful but willing to try.

HOLY CRAP!!! REALLY???

Absolutely. You are on the list as of now. I do have your address somewhere but to save me a few minutes looking it up, would you let me know by PM?

I performed an experiment today. It is inconclusive and really delves into the loony side of this, but I'm going to put it up here anyway. I have read on numerous occasions that crystals require a few hours in the sunshine every so often to regain their powers (how often, I don't know). So I just left the Black Wand out in the sun for two hours. I auditioned it before and after the sunshine exposure. It was much, much better after the exposure. Images all more solid and properly placed.

I will conduct further tests, but I think I'm a believer. Unless it was something to do with the electricity in the house. But it should have got worse from 11 AM to 1 PM, not better.
