Anyone Familiar with the "Lost Jukebox" series?

Just over the past couple of days, I've been listening to this personal made comp. series. I think I read that there's at least 225 volumes?

So far, I've discovered several songs unknown to me that I liked. For instance, I'd never heard "Four Below Zero" and their song "It's Sally's Birthday." Curious, I looked this up and discovered that their song appeared on American Banstand's "rate a record" and against it was "The Poore Boyes" song "Give." I gave it a listen also and enjoyed it too.

There seems to be different stories about the Lost Jukebox series. I read somewhere that the person that started this had passed away?
Anyone here know the scoop and anything else behind this?

Yes...Jeffrey Glenn, the compiler, passed away several years ago. I was in infrequent contact with him but he was very friendly and helpful.

The article mentions 240 volumes, but I think "only" 225 were made available. I have all of those.
