Weird little record I paid 50 cents for at an estate sale today. Anyone know a thing about this guy...

Lots of fuzz... 'meh' vocals... Doors vibe. From '68. North Hollywood address stamped on the sleeve. Evidently there were a couple of other records on the label.

Interesting that THE Art Laboe has songwriting credit on this.

Attila Galamb is the artist's full name... surely not the saxophonist... right?

Weird record.

W O W! When is fantastic! If this disc is taking up too much space in your house I would be happy to take it off your hands;)

I will let you know... I've not yet decided... supposedly there's a Texas connection... but I think that to not be correct.

Sooo...

just got an email from Attila. Evidently they toured through Texas a bit and he distinctly remembers playing a high school here on the southside. They did an interview and gave away quite a few records at the time. Pretty wild.

The Art Laboe is actually Art Laboe's son, Art Laboe, Jr. He played guitar. The drummer is Randy Ezratty who founded a mobile recording company that merged with XM radio some years back.

Cool!
I saw A-001 which looks to be a saxophone 2-sider, looking at the titles only. A-004 have titles that sound less promising. Anyone familiar with A-002?
