there's a Facebook page, that has a LOT of tedious content, and idiotic contributors, but occasionally something worthy is published.
It's a Public group callled - Australian rock bands 1960s and 1970s

Lately a guy, Phillip Hammon of the Blue Mountains Historical Society, has been posting some very cool photos for people to identify. A lot of the answers are nonsensical but often someone that personally knew the band pipes up.
Some of the bands didn't ever record, but the photos are cool!
They are all live shots taken at the Trocadero in Katoomba, just west of Sydney.
I hope these links work!

Phil Hammon also posted a few photos to a Katoomba memories type Facebook group. It's a private group probably not worth joining so I'll share some here.
First was easily identified - Billy Thorpe and the Aztecs, but the second required some deeper knowledge, which happily I could provide!
Mick Liber is holding the Rickenbacker and the group is Unit 4. Very shortly after this Liber joined the newly formed Python Lee Jackson, and a few years later was in London with Ashton, Gardner & Dyke. The singer is Frank Kennington who was very briefly in the Missing Links. There's a great page on garagehangover that ties it all together. The comments are REALLY worth reading.

It seems that these all came from the archive of a photo studio that took souvenir photos, so there are hundreds of photos of people out on the town, and these gems amongst them
