While I can't really vouch for the authenticity of your copy, I can say that my copy (which I certainly believe to be an original) has the same label as your 2nd link.
I´m afraid that does not sound very plausible. Star-Burst may not have been the biggest of record labels but the ones I´ve had certainly had professionally printed labels. In fact I don´t think I´ve seen any hand stamped labels, excepting typo correction, at all.
None of the Star-Burst label 45s I own (6 different) are "stamped" with the stars; the array of stars is part of the printed logo. I believe some labels may have been done without stars in error by the label printing company, this happened on occasion.
Speaking of Master tapes, does anyone know what became of Pickwick International's Master recordings? Our band members have been looking for the original unedited version of Iconoclastic Life which contains an unbelievable guitar solo. The solo, unfortunately, was edited out of the final 45 rpm recording. Thx.
