Avengers - Be A Caveman

To the best of my knowledge:

Originals are vinyl with gold stars printed on label, and have Δ 59478 etched in dead wax.

There are also vinyl and styrene copies without stars on label with Δ 59478 etched. Supposedly these labels without the gold stars are '80s represses from original stampers.

However Star-Burst had one other release that came both with and without the stars, Don Hinson's "The Protest Singer"

Mighty Mouth repro has Brooklyn address on label.

Ok this is interesting. So is this to say that there is some uncertainty whether the copy without the stars is not the original (that is, it could be original)???

I bought a copy of "Be A Cave Man" directly from Greg Likins (guitarist in The Avengers) about 10 years ago. It has no stars on the label. Greg said that he was given the copy in 1965. I also bought "Strange Faces" from him. After his stint with The Avengers he formed The Yankee Dollar.
