Thanks to the recent release of Moptopmike's "Beyond Teenbeat Mayhem" book, I have updated my official want list in a systematic way that was previously not possible. The following list presents the 67 records I need to complete the TBM Top 2000, numbered and in order. In general they are now my top wants. (Acetates are not included).

A note to those (maybe casual readers) who suppose this must be a list of the very rarest 60s garage 45s, since I don't have 'em....
Well, some are, some aren't.
If I don't have a 45 in the TBM top 2000, it's probably at least scarce, likely very rare. But not necessarily. Collecting garage 45s is a random process in a lot of ways. You collect what you find. There are some Sonics, Standells and Remains 45s that I still don't have. Still have never found a copy of Count Five "Merry Go Round". I've always gone for the top end items first, a strategy which leaves lots of holes at the lower end...and a few at the top!

I have already discovered two garage 45s I personally rate at least a solid 6 on the garage-o-meter. Neither one is listed in TBM , Beyond TBM or Barry's price guide - but they may appear in Barry's upcoming 2nd edition!

Some tough records, Boss. I only have one in the top 1,000
and none in the second, top 2,000 list. Many I've never even
see copies of anywhere (lol),
