Bread

Come on man! The Supply!!? Awful? When they supported the Lipstick Killers at Selina's in Sydney 1980, they blew us off the stage. I don't mind admitting that.
Really? Sorry about my ignorance. So what exactly would I have to listen to by "The Supply"?

Believe it or not, we did play a double bill with Air Supply in 1980. At the height of their fame, or just after. It was bizarre.
I believed you did the show, but I strongly doubt they blew you off the stage. :nope:

Didn't every scene have a Bread-like soft pop group?

I always thought of these guys as our Air Supply (snoozer warning)...

vs.

or

(though we didn't have this...)

and I'd much rather be under the leather.

The quad mix of The Best of Bread is pretty sweet. VERY spare production on most of their records, which is a-ok with me.

The Cryan' Shames' unreleased take of "It Don't Matter To Me" is included on the new Now Sounds reissue of the mono "Sugar & Spice" album.

Just picked up the Pleasure Fair LP. Robb Royer (pre-Bread), arranged and produced by David Gates. Kind of had high hopes. Not sure if I can ride.

I like a lot of the Bread stuff. Had the "beast of bread" cassette way back in the day and played it over and over.
