Buried In Tyme

Yeah, these are really great. Thanks a lot for sharing, Matt. I'll definitely buy them if you ever decide to go 'physical'.

same here, if you put'em out in a physical format i'm in. i am always looking to escape from the internet, ha, i mainly enjoy listening to music on physical records thru a stereo with the computer totally turned *off*.

But hopefully the net-raised/non-audiophile youth hordes are diggin deep into these downloads

Joe Horpenska's vocal gymnastics on 'I Will Cry Today' are something else. The fact that this was the A-side of the single go to show that teen musical tastes back in 1965 were perhaps a little different to those of modern day record collectors. 'I'm Comin Home' was the side I bought the Kiski single for, as I guess others did, too.

Another neglected flip I have grown to like is The Syndicate's 'Love Will Take You Away'. My 17-year old grandaughter, who is currently helping me digitalise my 45s prior to their sale, thinks a modern remake of 'Love Will Take You Away' would be well received by today's young hipsters.

Joe Horzempa was the name of the Coachmen Five singer. I had a convo with his son Matt many moons ago. Either the label spelt the name wrong or he changed his name (or Joseph Horpenska was another dude in the band)

A vinyl release out soon on Sunnyboy66 label:
