Canadian Garage

Hey guys i've just been checking out the 'Northwest Company' link and its a killer (thanks for sharing boss hoss!)..which makes me realise i don't know much about what was released from Canada that constitutes 'garage rock'..i do have some Ugly Ducklings and a few things on comps (not counting u.s bands that had 'canadian' in their name of course!). Anyway if anyone can point me in the right direction re bands and or compiltations that would be very appreciated..

As far as compilations are concerned I suggest you heartily the Wyld Canada four volumes compiled by Bosshoss for the old Forum (you can find'em easily on Soulseek).
Then these two (the vinyl and the CD version are both hard to find):
