Cancelled Austin Record Convention

I got this on the mail yesterday..

To our loyal customers and dealers, we are sad to inform you that due to an
injury I suffered there will be no Spring Show this year. The concussion I
acquired in an accident should be resolved by June/July in time for the Fall
Show. We're really sad to have to cancel our event but this decision is best
for my health and the success of the show in light of these changes. We hope
to see everyone return for the Fall Show in October.

WOW- not good- Wishing Doug a speedy recovery!

I did see that photo and it is NOT pretty. Main concern right now is that Doug makes speedy and full recovery!

Perhaps holding the fair just once a year could be to its advantage; that approach seems to have worked for WFMU.

As things stand now, I'll be heading to Austin in October; will be the first time for me.
