Hey Freaks, I thought some of you might enjoy what me and a good friend did some 13 years ago, a two man band called "The Flashjunkies". We just played drums, guitar and vocals (which were made up while singing, so don't be crucial) into a 4 track recorder and added organ and bass later, if necessary. We had 300 45s of our "Durch Die Tür" EP pressed, in a silkscreened cover we did ourselves, and we sold about 50 after gigs. Nobody wanted it, anyway. I gave the rest of them for free to friends, but I still have some, so if you'd like to own a weird piece of real unknown 90s garage epherma, let me know. You can listen to us at:
http://www.myspace.com/theflashjunkies
Check out "Durch Die Tür", "Looked At Her" (very much inspired by The Centrees), and the mind boggingly bad acid psych tune "What Does It Matter To You".
And don't be too serious about it; we weren't either. It is garage music.
Cheers,
Kai
