Chip Damiani of The Remains passed away..

A truly decent man and friend who made made my wife and I feel like we were part of The Remains family. RIP Chip and God bless your friends and family.

sorry to hear this, the Remains LP on Eva was my first 'garage' record and still one of my all time favorite LPs.

Saw The Remains at the Brighton Music Hall in January 2012. Got to chat with Chip for a bit after the show; genuinely cool guy who enjoyed chatting with his fans and was looking forward to doing something to commemorate the band's 50th.

They did have a show tentatively scheduled for April 26th at Johnny D's in Somerville, MA. Obviously that won't be happening now. R.I.P. Chip and condolences to his family and bandmates.
