had this as a saved search for EIGHT years on eBay before a copy turned up last week - at last.

Anyone else own this? I tend to think it's the hardest Pebbles 3 single to get, as I either have the others or have seen them for sale.

Anyhow, over the freakin' moon. For a parody record it rocks balls.

In the 70's when Dave Gibson & I were on our way to El Paso, we stopped in Phoenix. We each bought 5 copies of both of Condello's EPs. I traded the extras away over the years. Dave presumably did the same. Those are the only copies I ever saw.

thanks for the input Rich.

From the lack of "i have it" posts I guess my hunch was right. I'd be interested to know precise dates, pressing run, scope of distribution etc for both the Blitz singles. The Phoenix label is clearly a creation for the release of the Mike Condello singles.

Actually, it turns up frequently in Phoenix. It's a $20-$25 record with the sleeve here. There's a dealer at the local record show who has had quantity for years. (She's actually the daughter of the guy who ran the Wallace & Ladmo Drive-In restaurants and helped finance the Blitz releases.) The related Ladmo Trio "Blubber Soul" EP is much tougher to find.

The Commodore Condello project was an offshoot of the extremely popular "Wallace & Ladmo" kids show on KPHO-TV in Phoenix.

interesting its common on the ground and yet i didn't see one on ebay for almost eight years.

the Sgt Peppers spoof has come up regularly, Blubber Soul a couple of times and (i think) 'Makes A Comeback' never. Until last month.

Get that dealer selling them online! I'm sure she'd get more money for 'em
