Cool B sides...Does anyone really care?

The Sorrows is good but Chuck and Cleo must be the original, one of the producers - Andre Williams got some writing credits.

It is a great reverb-o-echo-drama, the Sorrows sound kind of trebley and thin in comparison,

thanks Frantic love it.

...and The Tasmanians "version" takes the biscuit...

well both the Sorrows and the Bushmen list Shuman/Westlake as composers , so maybe Mr. Williams just honoured an old "producer tradition";)

Call me stupid, many have, but are they not completely different songs with The Tasmanians credits going to Robin Thompson and Mike Carnes... The words are completely different. aren't they?

...and here says the Sorrows were first - http://www.secondhandsongs.com/work/113062. ...and Shuman/westlake did write a lot of songs for and with for the highly underated?? British singer/variety/comedian... friend of The Small Faces Kenny Lynch co-writer of Shalalalalee. Then to add more confusion for me Mort Shuman is American!?!?

*edit* ....oh that Mort Shuman:oops:.... Y'all can call me stupid. I kept thinking Pomus/Shuman.... crap. I'm an idiot.

It doesn't matter that the words, music and songwriters are completely different, as long as the title is the same. "Baby". It's the same song, only with different music and different words, written by different people....
