Looking for copies of Hey mama/Funeral at dawn on Vangee
You and me / World on fire on Dynamic Sound.
Any help appreciated.

I had seen that thanks very much MTM. Same seller had Hey Mama too! The description was a bit sketchy in regards to condition, but the price was definitely top end. I got in touch and made an offer based on the description, but the seller wasn't budging enough for my pocket.
I've taken my eye off the ball a bit with regards to these 45s. I really wanted them a few years back, and I was letting them slide for under £100 ($140). Only recently got the hankering to pick up the ogs again. Guess I'm still thinking in that ball park?
I did check the Popsike listings for what they are worth, and they seemed to echo my thoughts on price.
I'll keep looking and hoping.
Thanks again

That's what I'm talking about FH69. Congratulations on that one, glad it worked out well, VG means different things to different sellers depending on their honesty really. Give me a shout if you spot another. Ideally I'd like a decent copy. So, if anyone is holding one they no longer need PM me.

Not sure that it is honesty. I think that people who traffic in 45s tend to think a pretty messed up condition record is still fine, and people who traffic in LPs tend to be way more anal about downgrading a record from near mint to each of the several steps below it. Something to do with the idea that a tub of un-sleeved 45s in a junker hoard is still a fine place to unearth a gem.

VG never comes into play in a case of "honesty" as we have learned that our online San Antonio junker peddler would tell us that these 45s are MINT.

Yeah, I think vg for a 45 means bit of background or surface noise, but not really noticable when music is playing.
