Flash strides, Ali.

The statue is wearing Roger's shades and Crosby is still wearing that green cape!!
I've got a real cool Byrds pic from a 60s Dutch magazine that I'll post somewhere else.

I thought this was a 'dastardly non US beat' zone?

Well, couldn't resist salting this thread to keep folks on their toes. But yes, a US based pic thread would be a cool topic.

In my defense, the photo was taken in the UK, no? :%:

Thanks for posting all those amazing pics, soundog. Takes me back to the legendary Euro thread on the ancient Garagepunk forum. An all-time highlight of the Interweb.
By the way, any chance of posting a non-photoshopped version of that cool Firestones picture?

Hmmm. Based on the groovy threads, my first thought was The Dream. But I can't find Mr. Rypdal anywhere...

OK, how about this to further your quest. The bands best performance, or at least my favorite, was a cover version delegated to the B-side of a circa late '65 / early '66 red labeled 45. As an additional clue, the best performance of the track I've ever heard was performed LIVE on a late 1965 radio b-cast , originating in the cover bands home country, by the original artist(s).
