thanks for the link, mass. i'm not italian, but i understood what you guys were saying. the compiler is some guy from L.A. young fellow. 'round 25, i think?
aside from that, i thought #6 was pretty good. a few i hadn't heard before, and a few i have heard already, but still a cool package of tunes. i also liked the insert this time, instead of a booklet. way cool!

I appreciate the fact that the compiler includes what are obviously lesser tracks. Some of them are awful, but I like to be able to hear them anyway. The Circles tracks on the last volume (I think it was the last volume) immediately come to mind. I'll never listen to them again, but interesting none-the-less.

Agreed, anything should be made available to audition if possible when it comes to decent/average or weakest of the weak sounding songs.
just finished hearing debris 7 and wow, some weird stuff on this one! 
i love it. i wouldn't go as far as calling any of the stuff on here awful. 'interesting', yes. i always enjoy hearing something new, even if ain't going to get me up out of my seat. even the great gyro series had it's flaws. i mean, "the past and the future" by the purple persians? not to mention all the garage comps that at times have some dull track. but that honestly doesn't matter to me. i'm not complaining!
i personally want to give the compiler a big thanks, (in case he lurks here) for doing these. even though some of the tracks appear elsewhere, they blend in well with the ones that haven't been heard.
the one track that obviously stood out to me was this 'beast' track? anybody know when that was recorded since mr debris doesn't give an actual date?

The Beast 45 is from the early 70s. Henry Rollins must've took his whole schtick from this novelty

listened to all 7 volumes over the weekend. the frist three were hard work, but then things got better. Bizarre logic behind some choices: "this song is terrible" etc. But looking forward to more new stuff - there isn't much good garage I haven't heard, so it's job a case job done for me (Stanley Kimball, Sound Studio One, The Loving Years, Fugitives, Fabulous Plaids). Looking forward to more!

J.J. Cale (who is also a different John Cale) - I don't know if he was in the band but I always thought this record was a product of the "Tulsa Mafia" or whatever they were called (Cale, Leon Russell, etc)
