here's the news:
From the depth of the Pope’s Private Archives, aka the Lolly Pope, creator of the famous Prae-Kraut Pandaemonium and Electrick Loosers-installments and head of our beloved Spurensicherung / Roots & Traces-blogspot, who most kindly sent me 5 audio cassettes (you remember?) with unreleased beat-beauties from Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Liechtenstein and the German Democratic Republic (you remember?) plus some Gastarbeiter- ("guest-worker") bands who record in Germany. For one reason or another (who knows?), these tracks were never featured on PKP, but, at least to my ears, are simply too good to be missed. So we decided to continue the Electrick Loosers-series with 48 pieces from unreleased acetates and tapes, budget-samplers, b-sides and a few live-recordings. Be patient for the audio-quality, I tried my best, and I’m sure some hiss and muffled volume-tracks won’t spoil the fun. So turn up the volume and enjoy new sounds out of caves, garages and Beat-Kellers!

Now, on the downfall..
I believe a few, or maybe just one of these tracks might be incomplete. If so, I'm sorry. I tried my best to rip and trim these. If there are any typo's, my apologies for that as well. Most of these were 'new' to my ears, so have fun listening..

The 2nd Rogues 45 is a speedy tempo, vox organ and fuzz gtr punkadelic remake of "Tobacco Road", while the flipside is a 1:30 second, heavy guitar riff with cowbell rocker featuring an over-the top, Bob Seger type screaming vocal, titled, quite appropriately, "Heavy"

haven't been on here for a bit, but today, I listened to Debris Vol 3 at work ( to escape the bullshit and walk around in bliss avoiding hardly normal ads and todays best music - ie the same 70's and 80's crap that Wollongong radio hurls at ya) on headphones and wow, the Outcasts "sha la la" - that fuzz ripped even more shreds outta my eardrums! loved it, thanks

Another week, another debris..
Hello my friends
Just passing through letting everyone know that Debris Vol. 11 is up and available for your listening pleasure. Volume 11 features solid tracks by groups like "The Shandels" (both sides!), "The Executives" and the previously unheard (at least to my ears) "The Miracle Makers" on the famous (Pyramid) label, who do "Too Bad". A great punker with a cool, 'Pretty Woman' like-guitar! Without a doubt one of the best I've heard in this genre. Other notables include "The Satan's Breed" who are known for "Laugh Myself To The Grave", The Epics" who give a good two-sider, along with The Shandels. Also featured is a group called "Soul Seekers" on (Westchester), who do a very uncharacteristic cover of the John Lee Hooker classic "Boom Boom".

ps. One unfortunate note to point out is that track #08 might be incomplete. Once again, my apologies if so. I couldn't help NOT feature it, since it's so good. I did my best at trimming / editing the track so it had a fair ending.

No problem.. And yeah, that's probably the last time I do that. I don't like doing that either to be honest. Also, whatever is being featured in the near future are all complete songs.

.. the best way to start my job right after the vacations.... as usual, Debris 10 + 11 feature some great unheard gems and prove your policy of stretching the classic garage-bonderies is a viable method ... my fave cuts are the Moving Violations / Cavaliers' You better move on, The Hallmarks and the Stratfords (I don't like the Sound Systems' and the Finger Lickin' Good's tracks, tho) from Vol. 10 (Motive: Music shoud have the : in between) and both Shandels/ Shanels' tracks, the Miracle Makers (don't mind too much for the cutoff ending) and Cuff from Vol. 11. Pretty fratty sound from Glenn Nowell and Bubble (best track to my ears)

The unknown group acetate that recently sold on ebay and comp'd here with "Free As The Wind" and "We Gotta Get Out Of This Place" was issued on a 45. The name of the group is the Changing Times, the label is Vibra Sound (Albany NY)
