Hey Mario,
I'm aware I'm getting repetitive: Debris #14 is ALL killers indeed, cool organ-work on many tracks this time... best surprises to my ears: Royal Jones & his chaps, love the Initials' inept version of Midnight Hour (the singer just can't remember those lines, an the famous organ-solo is reduced to ONE note! that's what I call Garage!) , Long John And His Silvermen (of course), and, on top of'em all, the HILARIOUS Shakers 45s! just wonder where the Initials, Boot Hill (IN? OH?), the Shilos , LOng John, the Skakers and the Soul Mates hailed from, could'nt find any info on them ....

again: hugh thanks for another load of precious pearls!

kick ass line up here, same deal for vol 13 - its awesome that this stuff is now so easily available, so i'll never knock the download/blog/60's Garage Tube scene, its all crucial and welcomed, but being an obsessive fan of album/cd/cassette art it would be amazing if you could release some kinda hard copy 'best-of' featuring this stuff with full (or at least some) notes and art at least thru mail order only, if not thru Norton/Bomp/Crypt, etc.

Hello again friends

It's been about a month since the last Debris reered it's ugly head - WELL

Here it is again!

But putting that aside for just a quick moment. Here is some special news.
A member of the forum recently contacted me and offered to share some of his 45's for a future debris. I of course, gladly accepted and will feature these cool tracks on an upcoming volume. So stay tuned!

In the meantime, enjoy Debris Volume 15 - http://www.sendspace.com/file/j7g5gk

Oh, forgot to mention!

The track "Hey Girl" (which was part of a stash of acetates that popped up on e-bay recently) seemed to have a very unplesant skip around the 12 second mark. I removed it. The song plays without the skip now. You can hardly tell it was even there..

Just saying in case somebody noticed and wondered how it was repaired. :)

The 'Pain' acetate is confirmed to be The Magic Mushrooms...

Would it be safe to say that all of those acetates were The Magic Mushrooms?

One of them I think was credited to a band named "The Hit Parade", but it was crossed out.

I only chose to feature two of those acetates. But since I wasn't sure of the facts, I just listed them as "Unknown" for the time being. Thank you for confirming that one at least!

The only two that were the Magic Mushrooms were 'Pain' and 'I'm All Ears' (the rock version...not the soul version). This comes directly from Stu Freeman of The Magic Mushrooms. The others will need to remain "unknown" until properly identified.

Thanks Swyne, some great stuff here.
But I don't really see the point in including already compiled stuff. It's one thing if they are sound upgrades, but in theses cases (Jay Dee, Mojos), they're not.

Yeah, I know, but like the gentlemen above me said ;)

That really is the only reason why I added those. If I had photos of any of the other bands, I would have gone a different route. A "Bees" cover art didn't really appeal to me.. :p

.. re: the overlaps, as long as it's just a few and there's goodies like the mojo's Go, I can live with it....for my ears, #15 offers only highlights, specially the acetates (the Mushroom's Pain is awesome!!) and the unidentifed guitar stranglers.. fave trax are the Wombats (both sides) (is this the same group as on Unissued 60s Garage Acetates#3? from AL?) and the fine and unusual version of Midnight Hour (notwithstanding the out-tune guitar)... keep'em comin' Mario and thanks as always!

Ciao Michael

Thanks for once again taking the time to comment your thoughts.

I'm not sure if that Wombats is the same from the (Unissued Acetates) series? Someone here would have to confirm it, cause I was wondering that myself!
