I assumed this was on 45, but no, it's listed as an LP track. Anyone have this album? I'd love to see the front and back cover. Are the other songs any good? One of my favorites from the Highs in the Mid '60s volumes.

I know it's G"45", but that'll be nice to have a thread on 60s garage bands LPs are many remain obscure like this one. (or is there already one that I missed?)

Is this Dick Watson track from some weird Sherlock Holmes lp? Paul Major spun that for me years ago...

from the old Bomp list (no idea what's the connection with the Godz if there's any)

The pre-Godz LP does exist, it's called The World of Dick Watson, on United International 0001. There's also a single on UI 1008, not too impressive. The one great track on the LP is "Cold Clear World" which can be heard on the album Highs in the Mid 60s Vol 22, and Vol 3 of the Pebbles series on ESD (now out of print). According to my notes, the rest of the LP is a mersey-rock concept album based on the lyrics of the play "Baker Street". But I've never seen or heard it, and would definitely like to. Greg

About ten years ago someone sent me a link to an ebay auction that had just finished of that LP. As I recall it didn't sell for much. Unfortunately I didn't think to grab any images from it and only have a fuzzy memory of what it looked like. I think the front cover might have been an illustration.
