I'm looking for a cost estimate for a copy of the Glass Harp's "Where Did My World Come From?" on United Audio. How many of these have sold over the past year or so? How rare is it?
Kinda hard to find in top grade condition. I've seen several copies in the VG or lower range. One song is quite long so it would play a bit on the noisy side if under VG. 45s like this one turn up in the regional circle of dealers / diggers who don't put everything immediately on-line.
You can get this for under $100. A pretty nice copy sold for $50-ish about 6 months ago. It's gone down in price as the Phil Keaggy/Glass Harp completist circle either all have it or no longer collect. I think it needs to be heard again for its musical value (which is pretty good IMO) apart from the PK angle.

Sounds good! The reason why I was asking was because I found a copy in a thrift store a while ago, and was wondering about its rarity. (Unfortunately, I've lost the record and have yet to find it...)
Do you live in the Youngstown area?
The record is not that rare, relatively speaking. As MTM points out, most of the copies in circulation are used. I got an unplayed copy from old stock about 20 years ago and even that plays with a bit of pressing noise.

No, I live north of Cincinnati. Out of curiousity, does anyone have a key to the numbering that United Audio used? This record in particular was "Custom Series #6002", but considering that the label was funded by the bands themselves, I don't know how the numbering went.

I got it....don't remember what it was, but it's probably as bad as it looks. I don't have the Poobah LP (sold it years ago) and a couple of the ethnic LPs, and a gospel 45 or two. The country records by Gary Kennedy are rather good!
