Depends what you mean by redundant. There’s a few worthwhile completely unissued songs on here including two killer tracks that Alec played to me over the phone. One is a great bit of Norcal with fuzz by the PULLICE. He also said that Keb Darge was asking about the LONNIE DUVALL track when he spun a carver of it at a club in London last year. Insane guitar break!!!

Some of the other tracks haven’t been reissued officially / from tape, or haven’t been put on vinyl before, but I think the whole point is the label wanted to aim this at newbies. Nice silver foil cover and translucent blue vinyl. BUT WHY ISN’T IT ON CD????
