Its as if Yoko Ono joined the SS and they discovered rock.

PS...A epiphany has occurred and they rarely occur in my life. Are you ready...This is one of the greatest songs ever recorded.

PSS...Sure its a garage rock group and thats my shit but I'm wasted and if you dont dig this I say GET OUT!

I recall that Jemima was somewhat easier on the eye than Yoko was back then IMO (lol).

really horrible. probably even worse for me as i can understand the dumbo lyrics. highly annoying. if there's one thing that germans shouldn't dabble in, it's music

What a bizarre thing to say. What about The Lords, The Rattles or the scores of bands on the Boom! Smash! Bang! comps? Or Kraftwerk, Can or Ludwig van Beethoven?
Yeah, probably should be taken with a bit of salt.

Still, pretty much all the mid-1960s "garage" music coming out of germany is pretty bad or horrible, passable at best. Mostly, it's a bad rip-off of us/uk groups or it is drenched with elements of the german "schlager".

late 60s/early 70s stuff, i'm not interested in, so my statement wasn't directed at that.

Agreeing with you on some kind of level I'd like to point out that most European collectors did specify Dutch garage, German garage or whatever countries bands came from. There really was never any question as to the origins of 60's garage...USA by far!

Shocking statements. I recommend you check out the 15+ volume Prae-Kraut Pandaemonium comp series.
I did say generalisation. Unfortunately, even when I tried to get them 20 years ago, P-KP volumes were already impossible to find. Good German garage will have to remain (largely) a well kept secret for me.
