Early Seger from master tapes....FINALLY!!!

Nice idea to get them out officially. Too bad they left off "Ballad Of The Yellow Beret" which was actually his first ever record. Unreleased takes would have been nice, also, because as it stands this is about 30 minutes worth of material.

The Beach Bums track had nothing to do with the Cameo label. So it shouldn't be on there.

Ah yes, you are correct. I didn't think of that. I was thinking more for completeness sake from the standpoint of if this were assembled by a Seger fan and not as a Cameo Parkway production specifically.

I'm fine with not having a 'yellow berets' in any kind of quality; weird recording, still not entirely sure of what it was meant to say, maybe they were even dissing John Wayne?

It was a song criticizing Vietnam era anti-war protestors and draft dodgers done to the tune of "Ballad Of The Green Berets". It's an odd one.
