EASYBEATS Friday On My Mind movie.

I preferred the documentary Blood and Thunder: The sound of Alberts which was screened on tv directly after Friday on my Mind. Unlike Friday on my mind it's full of footage of the Easybeats, both then and now. It also tells the Easybeats' story very well.

It's not often you see a documentary where a music business executive reminisces about signing the Throb and the Missing Links.

You'd think that the U.S. never even had a 'rock scene' the way the networks program things here. Our culture evaporates...

I tried hacking into Aussie ABC to watch part 2 of this beauty. Bleeding buggers got it in lock down so us bloody foreigners can't pilfer the show.

I tried using an Aussie IP location to download:sneaky: it but hell it was taking forever to trickle up into the USA:crap:. Still twitching like a desperate fiend. :hihi:

Thank you Frantic. Just watched it and really enjoyed the whole thing. Kind of wished it was a bit more grimy, everywhere looks so clean, but overall this is excellent.

Cried a few times, laughed a lot and loved the fact most of the Easybeats wanted to go home to Australia when they were all from elsewhere.

Thanks again, much love from an immigrant.
