Congratulations. You have earned the Key to the Bunker of The Secret Society of the G45. Now you may prize open the hidden vaults and download the riches contained within.

One inviolable rule constrains the members. Please do not share the contents of the Bunker Of The Secret Society with those who have not earned the Key. That includes members of the forum, friends, sleazy bootleggers and especially of course, internet file-sharing services! You can imagine the horrifying curse that would fall upon any member who weakened and broke this sacred covenant!

Lets face it, the Key is pretty easy to earn, so let 'em earn it!

Enough of that...I just hope you enjoy The Sky Is Black and the other special projects you will find here over the coming months.

Thanks Boss for giving me the key to enlightenment.

A privilage I am delighted to receive.
I will honour all rules of the 'Bunker of The Secret Society' you have my word!

May Secret Society members post goodies for download for other esteemed SS members? I have something I'd like to share, provided there is a place under lock and key to "store" the sound clips.

Yes that would be great Mike.
If you know how to ftp, you could upload them yourself, otherwise I could do it if you send me the files. If you think can do it yourself, I will send you instructions including username and password etc.

Yes, just to go on record and say Mum's the word

Really cool idea. I would like to contribute with an Italian beat comp some months from now. Originally intended as a freebie comp I scrapped the idea as some key tracks were uncomped and I would hate to see some scrounger benefit from this by putting them on a bootleg. Perhaps unavoidable in the end, but it's always worth a try at least making it a tad more difficult.

I must have missed this earlier...or just received the key today. Either way....THANK YOU, Mark. I have some files I'd like to share as well--unreleased acetates, demos, etc.

On the stack of CD comps many of you guys here have blessed me with over the years I vow not to share anything received here. Thank you very much Mark!

This sounds pretty awesome. I will take my time to enjoy the secrets and never let any word come across my lips to anyone... ssshhh...

I could certainly get behind that!

Possible tracks I wish to forward to this project: (All these are 45 or LP track flac files)

Take a look around / Tell me (what's going on) - Bobby Dean & The Worried Minds
Inside lookin' out / Watch gonna do - Treo + 1
Leave myself to me / Mean mean city - The Southern Gentlemen
How blind can you be / Summertime blues - The Sands
Bye bye goodbye / It's the end - The Sunsets
Lonely sixteen - Anne Reilly & The Echomen
I'll make you happy - The Empty Words
The old oak tree / Memphis - unknown
I'm crying - The Vagrants
Walkin' back / unknown - Sometimes blue
The morning after the night before - The Crests
Down the road 'apiece - The Vikings
Caught red handed - The Bentbeaks
You got to me / Dimples / I'm not a bad guy - The Escorts

I do have more, but this is a starter. What do others have in their Oz beat collections?

Boss..... so are there potential other G45 members who have zero access to this?

I am amazed that web forums are capable... If an when I figure out how to copy vinyl I really want you guys to hear a folk jangler by a group called We The People from California... it's moody jangle genius!

Paul

By the way.

I pledge an oath to the secret which this garage society may bring forth to my consciousness... do I have to shake your hand in a loser fashion now?

Mark,
I think this a very generous gift to present to us all that have made it this far into the site! Thanks so much for sharing!
Sincerely,
Darren Wallace
PS
I too will gladly respect your wishes regarding keeping this a secret and not sharing.
