There's more all the time, one for just about every corner of the earth. Starting with Facebook, recent faves have been...

Evil - the Nordic 60s R&B, Garage and Psych
Buffalo & WNY Garage bands
Carolina Rock n Roll Remembered
Dutch 60's Beat and More

That's just a start, haven't even touched Instagram. What ya got?

Really? You are all so bored you can't even discuss this? Or is it too hard to admit that you look at such things ( social media BAD 🙄🤣🤣!) ?

Well maybe if I link them? This one is good though somewhat inactive of late...

I spend a lot of time sharing on the CT 50-70’s FB page, which has allowed me to obtain records from the artists (the vast majority of the members) that I’ve never seen for sale in recent years, and I follow some Milwaukee for a friend of mine.

I run a FB page dealing with '60s and '70s comps of all kinds, not strictly garage. It's mostly just me posting records from my collection.

There are hundreds of regional music pages or group on Facebook, and exponentially more for towns and neighborhoods that aren't music based but often discuss local acts. Even the lesser pages often turn up good photos and (usually in the comments) stories. I hope FB keeps these pages up for decades, as they will be a good source of info as the participants fade away.

You just let me join before I answered the questions... 🤖

There are some fantastic sixties music photos turning up on tumblr. There are also a multitude of posters trying to convince you that the Monkees were trans.

That Buffalo & WNY page looks pretty amazing since I lived in Ithaca for 5 years while I was in college. I know it's technically part of the New York's Southern Teir region but so many bands (like The Huns, Link Wray, The Trashmen & Bo Diddley) played on the Cornell & Ithaca College campuses. I never realized there was such a rich 60's garage band history in that region.

I run the WNY Garage page, both on Facebook and Instagram. Appreciate the kind words! I love extending the content into central NY/Finger Lakes region as well as Southern Tier. Still so much to uncover...
