Flame LTD

Just re-read the liners to Imaginational Anthem Vol. 8 featuring a song by Kip Dobler likely of little interest to G45 ears. But according to the liners Kip had earlier played with his brother David in a garage band called Flame LTD. They recorded one 45 for California label Lennan (of Chocolate Light Bulbs fame) in 1967 apparently done in an edition of 100. A quick search didn't yield further info beyond title ("Never the Same") and cat# (1262) and I didn't see it in TBM either, but I suppose somebody around here will have the record or at least have heard it. Is it any good?

The Flame Ltd. 45 came out in 1969, not 1967.
It did make the listing in TBM, the "No Dice" chapter...and in the on-line version.

Upon visiting the Phillip Island Motogp a friend introduced me to yabby. Foul and disgusting doesn't even come close to describing the experience If I ever come across a band named the Yabbies I will buy their vinyl sight and heard unseen/unheard, for in my assumption they must be the foulest garage band ever
