Flying V's in the garage?

Ok here's a left field request...does anyone have pics of a typical short-haired '66 garage band with a Flying V slinger in their ranks? According to the ultra reliable Wikipedia, flying v's were produced in 58 and 59 then discontinued, then a few were released in 63 out of leftover parts. It went back into production in 67 after Hendrix and others were seen with them. I've seen plenty of Explorers in the garage but not sure I've ever seen a pimply faced crew-cutted type wielding one in the black and white era...
