Thanks for your interest and it's gonna be a long story, starting with the "Nuggets" album in 1972 and even earlier in 1966 when I heard The Shadows of Knight, The Count IV, The Seeds, The Music Machine, The Electric Prunes and many more here in Hamburg, Germany on the RADIO; believe it or not! One year later, in 1967 it was The Peanut Butter Conspiracy, The Grateful Dead, The Doors, Love and and and ... also on that special program called "After School" aka "Nach der Schule" ... and that was when I became a sucker for The West Coast Sound and San Francisco bands.
My earliest contact with Rock music began in 1959 when I heard "Rock around the Clock" on the Radio as well. Then came my FIRST ever record "Brown eyed handsome man" by Buddy Holly and THEN along came THE BEATLES, followed by The Rolling Stones and all the other great UK Beat and R&B bands ... to be continued
