Forum comp directory

OK, since I have all the old forum comps (I think?), I thought I'd 'borrow' the Forum comp directory on the Garagepunk MKII forum.
What I'd like to do is to upload all the comps (one at a time and in irregular intervals), and update the 1st post with download links every time I upload a new title.
Other members are welcome to upload stuff too, but please keep it FLAC ONLY!

If any of the comp-makers have issues with this, please let me know and I'll remove their entries.

Spoke to Masterbeat yesterday - no problem to repost those comps on his end.

I'd sent a few raggedy comps off to a handful of forum members in the past. Having just arrived at a downloading flac(ing) capability I suppose I could fine tune a few things and post something here. I attempted to drag a file into this post & it did not take.

So, the question being, how does one post / upload a flac file? The Upload a file function didn't work for this posting.

Well soundog, I think you need to use a filesharing site of some kind. Popular ones are Rapidshare and Megashare. Then you post the link to the stuff you upload. :)

Next up is part 1 of garagebeatnik's excellent Extraterrestrial Sojourn series.

Also, I have these, but I don't think they're on the list yet. I think these were forum comps back in thee day.

Psychodelic
Shake Yourself Down
Outta Psychodelic's Cave!

Outta Psychodelic was not a forum comp, and the other one was just something someone slapped together from other comps and is not worthy of inclusion.

Here's my first contribution to this great list of forum comps that will be posted in the coming months. I'm not sure if this one contained any artwork, but if it did, maybe somebody who has it can post it later? Simply right click on the light blue font to begin downloading ;)

Oh, I see

Again, this should not be here, as it was "compiled" by someone who posted a lot of pointless comps on the old forum and bragged about how he had put them together. It did not take long before we found out that all he did was pick stuff from other comps, and after a while he did the only sensible thing and left.

This should be removed.

Hi Pfft,
I don't want to sound ungrateful, but it seems a lot of the tracks are missing in the download. Or maybe I did something wrong?
I agree with Bosshoss - this thread is the raison d'etre of the Secret Society!
Thanks,

Well, soooory mr pfft! :p

Don't get don't get all worked up, dude. I'll remove it, simple as that. Forgive me for not having all the inside info as you seem to have. I saw them mentioned on the old GP forums and thought otherwise. My bad!

OK, let's try this again

Since it appears my first attempt at sharing was not valid, based on what Bard stated regarding the particular entry I posted, I'm going to give it another go. Here's one that is on the list, so enjoy. Forgive any mix up!

Sorry Swyne, I wasn't mad at you. Of course you weren't to know about all this.
