I placed the bid just under 1K and I considered one more bid after that
but excuse me for the pun The Writing Was On The Wall .
Truly a Classic Slice of Texas Grunge !

A true bargain at the closing / winning bid price, congrats to the winner!
A perfect example of a truly rare 45 selling for a price that doesn't equate to the rarity. Unlike the Paragons "Abba", a 45 for which clueless DJ record buyers will overpay ($1000+ for VG minus)

You never know what could happen.
I've had plenty of instances where I placed a lowball bid and unexpectedly won when the bidding didn't go crazy (or no one else even bid).

Man I hope a grip of mint copies of that turn up....
Ironically, the great condition might have hurt the final price, giving the impression that somebody was close to the source. I'm vaguely suspicious that other copies will follow.

Man, that would be awesome.

I think we've discussed the price of this 45 a few times, but this is just :boggle::yikes::flush::sonny:

Not that I own one. I could have, if my priorities had been in a different order ten years ago. Bugger.
