G45 Ebay Watch

I've been on a bit of a self-imposed eBay probation period recently. It turns out that the more time you spend monitoring cool 45's, the more money you spend acquiring cool 45's. Accordingly, this update is woefully late, and probably woefully incomplete. But, here are some things that have been cluttering up my watched item list...

The Lee Vi's looks to be a bargain at that price.

I must admit total ignorance on that one. I had to trust the description of "garage" when including it in the round-up.

Cool two sider comped on Michigan Mayhem. I recall Moptop saying years ago that it was extremely rare. Both sides have a great primitive, minimalist beat.

Is anyone else going to bite on that "Rapunzel" acetate? It actually sounds pretty good. I thought about it, but acetates aren't my thing.

Acetates are my thing and it looks like I won this. I bid low not expecting to win but, hey, I'll take it. I would have bid more if the seller didn't include a complete sound file (I don't understand why people do this) and/or if the group name was printed on the label. It's not the Our Gang song, so I suppose it's another mystery group. But the song is pretty damn catchy and if it is unreleased (hopefully) it's a steal for $32.

I bought the Lee VIs 45, on first glance it´s atleast VG++ if not M-, havent had time to check it out more close due to a heavy work week after my vacation

...and looks to be one of the cleanest copies that's ever popped up on eBay. It would've been fascinating if the seller had taken bids.

How long was this listed? Reading the seller's patter sure makes it look like he would've taken less, but the buyer wasn't going to chance losing it!

no wonder I miss out on nice ebay scores: I dont even manage to find that ended Knights Bridge BIN. Could someone link, please.

Yeah, that was a good deal on the Knight's Bridge. I didn't see it either. Buy It Nows are a matter of luck if it is a good deal/price for a sought-after 45. you have to be on-line right then and there.

The Knights Bridge was floated around to me before it hit EBay as a BIN...Then the seller changed his mind a put it online. I was hoping to lead him in the direction of the forum to let it go.. It was a little rich for my blood at this time.

It was up less than 24 hours I would guess. I caught it within a few hours of if going up and the listing was already showing one offer.

As for the Zeljians... a Mark VII roundup is just around the corner.... less than a year anyway.
