G45 Ebay Watch

You'll never find such a record here in Sacramento for $1000 and this is where it was recorded!!!! I've been looking for one for years. The band never had a copy, they got in a fight with their manager and he never gave them any. They thought maybe he threw them all out and that they no longer existed!!!

Haha you're right Shakesomeaction! France is not a garage land! There are few french bands we are proud to listen but American bands were definitly rawest! France is still in what we call "variété" music genre... Fuckin' boring if you wanna know! I think only two or three thousands young people here in France are listening US garage rock.

Well last october I was in Paris 20e arrond. right of the menilmontant train station, the dj played Remains Diddy wah diddy I think, got people shaking, anyhow no vinyl though, only mp3's :(.

Yes you can find sometimes local DJs playing that kind of tunes in the street (very rare) or in clubs. I know there is an event called "Gloria" : several DJs come in club and play The Litter, The Remains, The Sonics, The Shadows Of Knight, The Blue Magoos, The Chocolate Watchband, etc...

My normal cut off mark is above $300.00, or a G45 200 related item, I do not bother with the ones below $300 unless they are in the G45 200, too many of them.

The Coastliners IA pressing (the local release) is extremely rare., Plus,t his copy was a stock copy, I have never seen one before, just one or two white/gray two-tone promo copies.

Yes I agree, I have never seen a stock copy for sale before. I had my promo copy for over 10 years now and saw at least 3 others for sale on lists and Ebay.
The problem is it is not a great disc musically, just average (to my ears), if this was a monster musically the price would have surely gone above the $1000.00 mark, like in the Thursdays Children case.

like in the Thursdays Children case.
This same seller sold a nice clean copy of Dominos a few batches back. Came in 2nd on both auctions. Apparently I serve only to make some other winner pay more! At least I have my G- starter copies of each!

He came across a box of nice 45s at an estate sale(otherwise devoid of good records) recently that both of these were in(with a couple blox test presses that I had won and a copy of ZZ Top's Salt Lick my buddy won).... We met up at a coffeeshop to check out the pile but he wouldn't sell any (except on ebay). He had a couple of the blox 1 sided promos for Everyday's Gonna Be Fun which I am sure he will be putting up soon. Couple other solar label bands's 45s that I don't have. All in all I felt better knowing that there were only a couple I wanted and did not have to let my imagination run with the idea that he had every record I need!
