And Now you are current!

Are the labels on the Swinging machine 45 usually reversed? I got one from the seller who had the SPQR, Legrand auctions. I think he's got tons of them but only 4 of the Swinging Machine. They are all mint, or at least mine is. But the labels are reversed.

Thanks Mike. I've only handled one copy with the intent to buy and I didn't remember it being reversed. So I guess it's not the whole run. Wonder how many of these were pressed. It doesn't seem particularly hard, but not super common either.

The 45 always turned up in the past (pre ebay & internet), used to sell for $100 up to $150 for a M- copy, price variant depending on the seller.

I see the seller is now offering a NM copy for $299 as a buy it now.

Yeah, I posted a link to his second copy elsewhere here. It was BIN for $250 or auction starting at $69. Someone started the bidding. I think he's elderly and not very knowledgable about music. If he's shooting straight with me, this is his last copy that he's selling right now. There are lots of titles in the combined Guida catalog that I'd like to have. Wish I had the time to go visit him and see what all he has.

He has some atrocious negative feedback. Nice to see this is turning up in quantity. I have a VG+ copy I bought years ago for like $25.

The seller seems to be a picker with no real knowledge of the stuff. The records are probably M- but you could easily get one with storage damage or cracks.

As regards the number of copies, we'll see but so far it looks like the same number he told me. Check his ended auctions and you'll see that one was relisted. Be nice if he does have more but I don't think so. I think he has more SPQR stuff though.

Special thanks to down-n-out for keeping the eBay WatchList flag flying! The down-n-out listings will be extremely valuable when computing the forthcoming G45 List update.

Wait, people actually look at these? I better get typing!
