G45 Ebay Watch

How much did that VG++ copy of "Ain't Got No Soul" end up at? Can't seem to find it.

Apparently this "rocksteady" guy is local, I wonder if he has a shop somewhere that I don't know about.

That wasn't it...the same seller listed a white-label version that should have ended around 2:00 yesterday afternoon.

It takes up to 24 hours to update the completed listings if you do a search, but you can look under the sellers name and find them as soon as they are completed. The record you're asking about went for $150+. Anyone who needed to complete their New Lime collection should have jumped on them. he had a complete set (except for the black label which was sold earlier).

The sellers name is Thomas Luce. He's been dealing records in Cincy for a long time. I'm pretty sure he had a walk-in store at some time. Of the several Cincy area dealers on ebay, he has the best records (except for the one off Jr McCants.....)

Yeah - I was stupid and didn't bid on "There Goes My Girlfriend"...

Found the auction, by the way - $161.49, which is a good price for a VG++ copy.

That Classics 45 is a stroke of primitive genius! Sad to say it is out of my price league. But same seller had another cool primitive (though slightly less so) 45 and it ended up at about just 2% of the Classics final price. And it had the same label color. Closest I got. :)

What else is on Amway? - this is all I can find:

The Octives - "Love" / "Laughing At Me" SK4M-6174/5
The Classics - "Trisha" / "I'm Hurtin'" T4KM-4956
The Emotions - "Every Man" / "I Just Do It" T4KM-4957/8
The Profiles - "If You Need Me" / "Please Come Back" T4KM-5840/1
The Torments - "Lying to Me" / "I Love You More Each Day" TK4M-3715/6

Well due to a mix up this never arrived at it's intended destination but went to a soul collector in the UK instead . A full refund was received and apparently the record never made it back to the seller :(

R. Mookie needed that 45 to complete his Ohio groups archive. That should do it, correct?

Yes, this one was missing. I think I need seven records to complete my collection of 'known' records. I also got another missing title this week. Of these, two are probably too late to be garage. I'm missing a couple Ohio rockabilly 45s and about 8 high quality (rare/expensive) soul 45s (I am missing more soul 45s but they are cheapies that I haven't bothered picking up yet). My soul collection ends around 1975. I have some later soul 45s that are either completing runs (sucn as Imperial Wonders Mean Miss Treater) or stuff thats cheap. I can't /won't compete with the Europeans for crappy disco like Blackshear.
