AFAIK that seller shifted 4 copies, ranging from 408 $- 531 $. No clue if there's more to come but I certainly wouldn't mind... didn't get one yet.

He has sold 7 since December - maybe one in November, but I can't be certain. So at least #8 is up now.

My tuppence of opinion on this is...
Buyers rarely go in for 'percentage calculation' thing when they buy. Buying a record I want I tend to think of a price for an excellent copy, and bid more for mintish and less for VG, and good. But I don't buy the idea that G is worth 15-20% of mint. Some records are just too hard to find to be so mathematical about it. If you love it and it's hard to find you bid seriously.

The vibe on the street for mint or mint minus these days seems to be "sky's the limit" amongst sellers. It's making for some painful conversations when buying! Just offered the same Oz record in the last 48 hrs - 750$AUS for mint and 130$AUS for VG. Guess which one I went for ....

That all makes sense. Just out of interest, the G45 Oracle says that a record worth $750 in mint should be worth $352 in vg. So you got a great deal!

On the other hand , if the vg record was fairly priced at $130, then a mint copy should only be worth $291. So sayeth the Oracle.

It's supposed to not separate and open up if you handle it with reasonable care - and that the two pieces join up without a lot of missing bits, and plays through with no jumps or excessive pops like the needle has to use momentum to keep tracking. I would expect that any record with a crack would play with ticks or pops over the crack.

Any thoughts on what a tight crack is exactly? And keep it clean please gents.
