7. An EX copy of The Hides - Don't Be Difficult/When I See the One I Love on Scotty sold for $37.55 (seems like someone got quite bargain on this one).

Maybe, but this is not a rare record and probably $75 is more realistic. Could have been the the timing.

Finally got a promo copy of the Jerms' "Green Door" for $9.99 shipped. Plus, I'm going to my vinyl stash store (this guy has about 4,000 45s in his basement) on Monday, so I assure you I'll be back with some good stuff! Last time I was there I found a battered copy of the second Gestures 45.

Well. The seller put the 45 in a sleeve, stuck it in a bubble envelope, and sent it. No padding or anything.

What do you know, it's cracked.

DO NOT BUY FROM EBAY SELLER "igiveumypeace"!

Or "igiveyoutheshits"
Same thing happened to me once with an MPD Ltd 45 - the seller put it in a plastic post satchel with no other protection. It arrived in several pieces; lucky it was a common record. These days if I'm buying from someone who doesn't have a track history of selling records I send them some tips on how to pack properly, particularly if it's a rare 45.
