After a blackout lasting nearly 48 hours, we are back! Due to a random technical glitch, the forum was down, and resisted all my attempts to revive it. The technical staff at the internet provider we use tried hard to help, but they couldn't put their finger on the problem either.

In the end it was my nephew Adrian who worked out a solution. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have ever solved it myself. Something to do with cron entries, MySQL query errors, and xf_session_activity.

My thanks to Adrian for saving the day!

Thanks Adrian.

I thought STB Nuclear Nova Golden Touch had improved so much it was hacking with its crystalline mystery brain.

I can confirm that Adrian went even beyond the above. For the past couple of months, I was receiving an error when attempting to make a posting, click the "like" button or even try to write someone here and explain these errors.

The above errors are now gone and so, I give a double-thanks goes to Adrian!
