The Elevators have been so eloquently remastered, is there an equal remaster of the Golden Dawn lp available? My all time favorite album...alas my original had a bad dish warp causing tracks 1 on both sides to skip

Finding a 'flat' original I.A. '68 pressing is really the best way to go. Wish I'd bought every sealed copy I found back in 1976 when dealers
were lucky to sell one to a U.S. customer for more than $10-15...but I was just an 'impoverished college student' then (lol).

Dave this is so weird, around the same time IA albums were popping up all over Holland in a store called Diskoland. Don't know how they got ahold of them. That's where I bought my sealed copy for $15 I did go back and asked for another copy, this one was also warped, maybe it had something to do with the sealing. Back then I innocently thought I would find another copy but the quantity dried up in no time. Now I am just hoping for a good quality reissue as I am not willing to shell out a ton of money for a flat copy.
I've started tweaking and playing around with different eq settings on the Charlie cd, trying to achieve the same brightness as can be heard on the Elevators stereo/mono issues. It'll take me alot of time but I am determined to get the result I want, time is on my side.
After several eq settings and an equal amount of misfires plus balance settings I have finally come to a very satisfactory result. This doesn't mean it's thee best version but it is to my tinnitus ears. Only took me a full 24 hours
