Happy Snaps

OHHHHHH, I get it....duh. I didn't even get the theme and I put it out...ha!!! Forgot I put Madd Inc. on the Ikon Story & on Up From The Grave. That's what threw me off. My mind is on the way out me thinks. I'll soon be sitting in a sofa made outta my own shit. :flush:You always have that little twist in your humor. That's why you will always be the boss.:tiphat:

Villagers gathered in their masses...

Villagers.jpg

5 different Villagers shown here. The Volume and Fame releases are by the same FL combo. (TBM)
In North Carolina alone, there were several Combos that went by the Villagers, including the group who recorded the 45 pictured on the JCP label.

Curt Block & the Vibrations deserve a place, as do the Detroit Vibrations, the Heathens on Vibra, and the Second Summers who sing "Sad Vibrations".

So the green, blue, red sleeves are the Dandy dresses for when your 45s get out, while usually they lounge around amongst their siblings in white under zip-lock?
Sometimes I change 'em for the photos,. But generally they appear as is. I used to put the really rare and great ones in green, the medium ones in red and the lesser grade ones in blue. But I ran out of green, so that idea went out the window a few years ago.
The white sleeves you see in the shot are cardboard outer sleeves. Everything has an outer cardboard sleeve and an inner paper sleeve, and a ziplock bag.

Here is another shot showing more or less my complete USA 45 garage collection. The 2 missing boxes are the "TRE" and "V" boxes I have been using for the above photos. The other half of the room is filled with more garage 45s from all over the world, plus some rock n roll, blues, and soul 45s, plus a limited collection of LPs, and also the Fine Recording Studio mastertapes.

Like the idea of color coding. If one day you do a new run of greens (to put all your newly added rare ones and the upgrades in propper color), let us know. Some takers over here...

Unfortunately, now that my business is no longer operating, I have lost contact with all the various people who made the last lot happen. It's complicated, you need knives, a diecutting press, folding and gluing machines, paper supplies, etc. There's some things I really miss about being in business. But not everything... especially now, I'm so glad I'm not employing 100 people right now!
