Happy Snaps

Are there not others on this forum who have a more complete Canadian collection? 250 doesn't sound like a lot; even Australia has about 500 45s, and it wasn't known for its liberal record industry.

There are 604 photos which equals 302 Canadian 45s. I can't think of any great (English language) Canadian 60s garage 45 that I don't have. Maybe a handful have come up in the last 10 years since I closed off my Canadian collection *.
I have a semi-decent French Canadian collection, but I'm no expert in that field and for sure I'm missing some of those.

* Ed Nadorozny listed these English language ones for me a few years ago, but I haven't heard them
Brian Dorsey & Stingrays - "Run Home" (Hitt)
Pacers - I Want You Back (RCA)
Whisky Sours - I Can't Force You (Power)
Chessmen- What's Causing This Sensation (RCA)
Stags - You Know He Did (REO)
Raja - I Realise (Good Groove)
Clymaxe - RU Cumming (HMS)

(the "W rr" USA folder has been re-named and is ready to download)

The Whisky Sours on Power is an obscure one that’s on my short list of most wanted records. I wish I at least knew what it sounded like!

I volunteer to rename the Nederbeat-folder :)
Someone suggested that I shouldn't bother with photographing my Euro and UK collection, since it is nowhere near complete. My approach to collecting European and UK 45s has been hit and miss, never systematic. The suggestion was that there would be little value in a partial database of European label photos.

The USA and Canada photo databases are complete. There will be updates in the future, but for now, every label I have on hand (plus a couple of forum member additions) has been uploaded and re-named.

Not that it matters much, but here's another correction to the list: I also did G :flipped:
Thanks very much for sharing your collection with us, Mark - it's a priceless resource!

I didn't do H, I think someone else took that for me. Don't want undeserved credit!
Same here, somebody had already done ‘P’ before I even knew it was up! Thank you to whoever did it, as at my rate I might still be re-naming files.

The real credit, however, goes to Mark for undergoing this grueling process in order to share these wonderful pics with us. It is greatly appreciated!

I wonder who did "P"? and "H"?

Other corrections have been updated on the scoreboard. Thanks again everyone!

I did "P" though as sanjuro73 said above: The thing that matters most is that you went through the surely brain-numbing process of taking 13.000 (!!) snaps - while likely the happiness-factor dwindled after a few thousand, or before that.

Thanks for your contribution Gregk25. I got a bit mixed up with who did what. The scoreboard has been updated.
The hardest (or let's say the most tedious) part was rotating the labels so they are reasonably level, and framing them so the edges are even. Other than that, it was easy. I probably spent more time cleaning fingerprints, dust and mold specks off some of the discs, than anything else.

So now the only mystery is ... who did "H"?

I wanted to make a movie out of the label photos. But when I loaded 12000 photos into the movie software, it crashed. Pity, it could have been an epic, lasting over 5 hours. It would have looked like this. Click on the 4 arrows next to the "Vimeo" logo to see it in Cinemascope

AWESOME!!!
