I'd go further, and deduct 1 point for every sucky, or irrelevant 45 you have in your garage collection. Except that would leave some collectors with negative scores, so I'd cap it at 50%. After all, presentation is important. If a fellow garage enthusiast ever goes through your collection, you want him to be impressed by every single he sees, rather than it being a simulation of going through records at a flea market.

Oi, about 95% of my records came out of other peoples junk piles in flea markets. I don't much care if anyone is impressed or not.

How much do you charge per foot?

That would vary according to which vintage model Aston - Martin DB5 be included as an enticement.

At this point a sizable allotment of the largesse would be directed to the local humane society to further the cause of Liberty.

Two and a half punters scored 50% of the killers I ever sold. No, not to found on Popsike.

Fair enough, and your candour is appreciated. I'm merely questioning the basis of comparing collection sizes. Having the longest dick in the room is a pyrrhic victory if you have erectile dysfunction.

Who said we were comparing collection sizes?
A simple question was asked, how many 45s is in one's collection. No one is judging the results, are they?
That would be dysfunctional.

I've been trying to get the collection better organized and it's a big project. I used to have everything alphabetized but that went out the window at least 10 years ago. So, now I'm back on it and figure, after I toss the stuff I either have doubles of, don't like that much and/or is in iffy condition, I'm going to wind up with around 9000, give or take.
