Totally agree with Mike on this one.Not listing the title and the performer - excellent idea, and forces the listener to do a bit of work.

I think every track that is added should be be doctored in some way (added dropouts, cut off part of the song, low quality recording etc.) or else some bootlegger will just steal the tracks and release a bootleg and take all the credit.![]()
The bootleggers will just fade it then, easy to silence out a few seconds here and there. That's a good idea. Cutting off the last 10 or 20 seconds of the track would be advisable for anyone who doesn't want this to happen.

After 7 days, the points are calculated based on the number of people who knew the song, and the musical quality rating (awarded by Professor Moptopmike taking the popular vote into account at his discretion). The points will be added to the total points scored so far by that member. After points for 6 posts by any member have been calculated, that member's score will be locked.
At the end of 18th October 2014, the player with the highest points will be the winner.
Might as well start things off with a 10. Here's one coming out soon. I've added some silent spots and saved it at 96 kpbs to stave off the boot boys.. I simply titled it TOP THIS...

yeah, well I didn't want it to end up on a cd with a caveman on the coverI would have given it 10, but it's got all these strange gaps in it....

I wasn't thinking of him.I don't think PM is doing comps anymore...
too bad I upped Rooftops by the Fatigues a while back. What did you rate that at Mark?

So Rooftops goes down after a coupla spins, does that mean the song I listed a few minutes ago will go up after a few spins? ha!I'd probably give that a 7 or 8, Joey. It's great, but wears thin after a few plays.

Wow, that went straight into my database! Is that the Stanco Fatigues?
nope, there are guys who would just fade it out and release it. It is the Stanco Fatigues.!!!Wow, that went straight into my database! Is that the Stanco Fatigues?
Go easy on the dropouts: it interrupts the flow too much making it hard to get an emotional handle on the song.I think a few seconds off the end would suffice.
But you are the only one of two people in the world who own the record.Maybe when it's officially released. I don't think I could sit through it more than once with the gaps.
But you are the only one of two people in the world who own the record. You can go Gapless anytime you want.
I'll send you a cd when it comes out. I guarantee the gaps will be filled in.I was talking about TOP THIS.
